Welcome to UAB Wave Space Exploration ("Wave Space", "we", "our", "us"). By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our services.

Licensable financial services are provided Striga Technology OÜ, 16298772, Pärnu mnt 110, 11313 Tallinn, Estonia (“Partner”, “Striga”).

1. Definitions

  • User: Any individual using Wave Space services.
  • Swap: A product that allows Users to convert Crypto to Euros and vice versa.
  • Wavecard: A VISA debit card connected to the User's Wave Space Crypto account. Wavecard is issued through a white-label arrangement with a third-party provider, Wave Space acts as the distributor. Wavecard branding is not an approved card brand by the card scheme organization and is used solely as a commercial identifier for distribution purposes.
  • Services: Includes the Send and Wavecard products and any other services provided by Wave Space.
  • Wavespace platform: Services provided by Wave Space via app.wave.space
  • Partner Services: Financial services provided by our partner, Striga, including User euro accounts, virtual IBANs, Crypto accounts, VISA debit cards, and trading & exchange services.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. Additionally, your account must be linked to a valid email address, and you must comply with any requirements set forth by our third-party providers for account creation and access to our Services.

3. Account Registration

To use Wave Space services, Users must register for an account. During registration, Users must provide accurate and complete information, including a valid email address. A password must be created by the User, which will be securely stored by Wave Space. Passwords must meet the following security requirements:

  • At least 8 characters in length.
  • Include both uppercase and lowercase letters.
  • Contain at least one number.
  • Include at least one special character.

Wave Space employs industry-standard encryption and security protocols to ensure the protection and confidentiality of stored password information. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for all activities that occur under their account.

4. Services

4.1 Swap

Wave Space guarantees that it will instruct Striga to debit these fees from the User's account in accordance with the pricing applicable to the User.

4.1.1 Users can deposit Crypto into their dedicated Wave Space Crypto account. Upon arrival, the Crypto will be sold for Euros at the current market rate and into the User's Euro account. To proceed, users must confirm withdrawals to their external bank accounts via a one-time code sent to their mobile phone. Euro proceeds are then sent via SEPA Instant to the User's selected external bank account.

4.1.2 Users can also deposit Euros into their dedicated Wave Space Euro account using a personal Wave Space virtual IBAN. Upon arrival, the Euros will be used to purchase Crypto at the current market rate and deposited into the User's Crypto account. To proceed, users must confirm withdrawals to their external Crypto wallets via a one-time code sent to their mobile phone. Crypto will then be withdrawn to the User's external Crypto wallet of choice.

4.2 Wavecard

Users can sign up for a Wavecard VISA debit card through the Wave Space app. The Wavecard is connected to the User's Wave Space Crypto account. Users can deposit Crypto into their Wavecard Crypto account, which funds any payments made with the VISA Wavecard.

5. Fees

  • Swap:
    • 1% conversion fee for Crypto to Euros and vice versa.
  • Wavecard (For informational purposes only and may change anytime. Actual and latest wavecard fees are provided in separate legal terms when opening the card on the wavespace platform):
    • €29.99 fee for physical card issuance.
    • €0 fee for physical card delivery via TRACKED.
    • €30 fee for physical card delivery via EXPRESS.
    • €0 fee for virtual card issuance.
    • 1% fee for card payments.
    • €2 + 3.00% fee for ATM cash withdrawals.

6. Partner Services

The following financial services are provided by our partner, Striga:

  • User Euro account
  • User virtual IBANs for euro deposits/withdrawals
  • User Crypto account
  • User VISA debit card
  • Trading & exchange services

7. User Obligations

Users agree to use the services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the services does not violate any applicable law, regulation, or these Terms.

8. System Security, Maintenance, and Downtime

Wave Space is committed to ensuring the security of our systems and User data. We utilize robust encryption, secure server infrastructure, and regular security audits to safeguard User information and prevent unauthorized access. Regular maintenance of our systems is conducted to ensure optimal performance and security. During maintenance periods, services may be temporarily unavailable. Users will be notified in advance of any scheduled maintenance that may cause service interruptions. In the event of unplanned downtime, Wave Space will notify Users as promptly as possible and provide updates on the status of service restoration.

9. Data Processing and Privacy

To the extent that we process the User’s data upon the instructions of Striga, Wave Space acts as a data processor. However, when processing any additional User data, Wave Space acts as a data controller. We are committed to protecting User privacy and ensuring the security of personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

10. Prohibited Uses

Users are prohibited from using the Services for any unlawful, unethical, or unauthorized activities. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Money Laundering or Terrorist Financing: Any activities that facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes are strictly prohibited.

  • Fraudulent Activities: Users must not engage in any fraudulent or deceptive practices, including but not limited to account manipulation, identity theft, or misrepresentation.

  • Harmful Activities: Users must not use the Services to transmit or store any content that is harmful, abusive, or infringes upon the rights of others.

  • Circumvention of Security Measures: Users must not attempt to bypass or compromise any security measures implemented by Wave Space or our partners.

  • Unauthorized Access: Users must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts, systems, or data belonging to Wave Space or other users.

11. Risks Associated with Crypto Assets

Users acknowledge and understand the inherent risks associated with crypto assets, including but not limited to:

  • Price Volatility: The value of crypto assets can fluctuate significantly and rapidly, potentially resulting in substantial gains or losses.
  • Regulatory Uncertainty: The regulatory landscape for crypto assets is constantly evolving, and changes in regulations could negatively impact the use or value of crypto assets.
  • Security Risks: Crypto asset holdings are susceptible to theft, loss, or hacking. Users are responsible for securing their accounts and crypto assets.
  • Technological Risks: The technology underlying crypto assets is constantly developing, and unforeseen issues or vulnerabilities could arise.

12. Taxes

Users are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable tax laws and regulations related to their use of the Services. Wave Space does not provide tax advice, and users should consult with a qualified tax professional for guidance.

13. Network & Withdrawal Fees

In addition to the fees outlined in Section 5, withdrawal fees may apply to certain cryptocurrency transactions. These fees will be charged to cover the respective network transaction costs, which are not controlled by Wave Space. Users will be notified of any applicable network fees before confirming a transaction. The final withdrawal fees charged may not always be equal to the fees charged by the respective network.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

Wave Space provides the Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or completeness of the Services. Users acknowledge that the use of the Services is at their own risk.

15. Inactive Accounts

An account is considered inactive if there hasn't been any transactional activity for a period of 365 days. Transactional activity includes any monetary service transaction, such as exchange, deposit, withdrawal, card transaction. We reserve the right to close inactive accounts and/or charge a maintenance fee for inactive accounts.

16. Account Cancellation and Termination

You have the right to terminate your account at any time by sending an email to contact@wave.space. Upon termination of your account, we will deactivate your profile and cease active processing of your personal data. However, in compliance with applicable European regulations, we may be required to retain certain personal information for a period of up to five (5) years. This retention is necessary to fulfil legal obligations, such as anti-money laundering requirements. After this period, your data will be securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data protection policies. We reserve the right to terminate your account for reasons such as, but not limited to,

  • unusual activity on the Account,
  • unauthorised access to the Account, or
  • a court order or command by a regulatory/government authority.

17. Limitation of Liability

Wave Space shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of the Services. Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by the User to us for the Services in question.

We employ security measures to protect your account and personal information. However, it's important that you also take necessary precautions to secure your account.

18. Website Accuracy

While we strive to keep the information on our website accurate and up-to-date, we cannot guarantee its absolute accuracy. We are not responsible for any losses incurred due to reliance on information presented on our website.

19. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. By continuing to use our services after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Lithuania.

Wave Space is dedicated to providing timely and effective customer support. Users can reach our customer support team via email at support@wave.space or through the support section of our website. We aim to respond to all customer inquiries, complaints, and claims within 2 business days.
